Let’s chat with Stirling Cooper
It’s time for another Vows performer interview! This time we are chatting with Stirling Cooper about his role as Father Cooper. Stirling first performed for KimCums.com in The Android followed by his original appearance as Father Cooper in the Vows short film.
What did you first think about the film when Kim first told you about it?
What aspect of the film were you most excited about/ What was your motivation for being in the film?
Playing a catholic priest. I love when I get the chance to play a character who is very different from me personally, it allows me to explore the full range of human experience vicariously.
How much communication did you have with your performers before you came to set?
I had a lot of communication with Kim before we started filming (and we had worked together before as well) but all the other performers I met for the first time on set.
What was the location like?
It was perfect, an old Church that had been re-developed into accommodation, it made for the ideal backdrop for the film and was very cosy to stay in.
What was your favourite on camera moment?
Performing communion for the rest of the cast, particularly because I have never been to a catholic ceremony and had to learn everything from scratch, it was the most challenging scene in the entire film but it was the also the most fun.
What was your favourite off camera moment?
Playing Sushi-Go with all the crew after we’d wrapped filming!
What was the most erotic moment for you as a performer?
Filming the card scene with Kim, it’s not a sex scene but it’s a scene that establishes a lot of sexual tension/romance between our two characters so for me that was easily the most erotic scene in the film.
Did your personal interests overlap with what you/your character got to do in the film?
My character got to drink wine, so that definitely counts as a yes.
Did you do anything to get in-character for the film?
Reflected on my sins and thus applied a ton of catholic guilt.
What scene took the longest to film?
The communion scene, primarily because I had so many lines to read/screw up.
Were the scenes constructed or did you have free reign to do what you wished?
Everything was very well scripted, but during the sex scenes we had a lot of room for improvisation.
Did you have a favourite line in the script? (This could be one of yours or one said by another performer)
“I’m having doubts. Doubts about all of this… about what it really means to sin.” (Father Taylor’s Confession)
What type of audience do you think would enjoy this film?
Lovers of erotica, anyone who likes a bit of romance/storyline with their kinky fantasies, anyone who has repressed sexual fantasies due to a catholic upbringing 😉
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Kim Cums is an incredible Director/Producer/Script Writer/Perfomer and any producers reading this should hit her up to direct their next erotic film.
