It’s Winter! (just not here)
When the hot and sticky summer days roll in, I get ever more nostalgic for the snow. I do enjoy the beach, but I am a truly miserable human being to be around the second the thermometer goes over 30C. However, I LOVE cold weather, especially when it comes with a helping of snow. You can always bundle up to keep warm, but you can’t tear your own skin off to stay cool (although I often wish to).
So finally, after many years of living in Oz, I packed my bags and headed south to Tassie during the winter in search of snow. And after a few hour hike, I found some! I couldn’t have asked for a better view either.
