I just finished watching the Doctor Who Christmas Special: The Return of Doctor Mysterio! I thought it was pretty fun overall. It was definitely trying to play off of the campiness of classic comic books, but I’ll leave it at that because I hate spoilers! Capaldi’s Doctor seems to be finally getting some good lines, and the pacing of the dialogue seemed to suit him quite well this episode and that gives me a bit of hope for Series 10.
Even though there were no Daleks in this episode, it looks like there are definitely going to be some in Series 10. Since the trailer aired for that today too, it seemed like a good excuse to post my BlackMilk Dalek dress gallery.
